Wizards at Hornets final score: Washington loses 110-103

The Washington Wizards lost to the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, 110-103.

Despite winning in the field goal percentage battle, the Hornets outrebounded the Wizards, 54-41 which helped Charlotte to a 3-1 start for their 2026-27 season. The Wizards are currently 2-2.

Anthony Davis led Washington with 29 points while Brandon Miller led Charlotte with 39 points. It’s a disappointing loss, especially with AJ Dybantsa missing tonight’s game due to an ankle sprain from the preseason. However, he will ultimately be ready. And that’s the Dybantsa we’re waiting for, not for one game but for this season and beyond.
