According to Shams Charania, the Utah Jazz signed former Jazzman, Tony Bradley off free agency waivers.

With Jusuf Nurkic injured and Mo Bamba’s play less than impactful, the Jazz bring in Bradley, who can provide serviceable minutes while they wait for Nurkic’s return.

Like Charania mentioned, Bradley was picked in the first round by Utah and spent his first three seasons in Utah. Though he hasn’t been a dominant big, he’s proven he can be at the end of a rotation for an NBA team, and that’s valuable for the Jazz, who need some depth at center.

It’s not clear if Utah will play more minutes with Jaren Jackson Jr. at center, or if they’re going to continue avoiding Jackson minutes at the 5, but this allows them the option to do either. In their final game against the Suns, Utah dealt with foul trouble for both Jackson and Jaxson Hayes. Having Bradley would have been helpful for Utah to preserve players in foul trouble.

Also, this is a fun story. Bringing Bradley back to Utah is great for fans and allows them to root for a player from a previous era.

According to Keith Smith, the Utah Jazz converted forward Harrison Ingram to a two-way contract.

This followed the Jazz waiving Jonas Aidoo and Tamar Bates.

Ingram brings some decent size on the wing and is worth investing time in to see if he can develop into a rotation player. There’s not much data on Ingram to reference, so we’ll see how he grows in the Jazz system.
