He’s back.
The Steve Kerr lookalike who went viral over two years ago for, well, looking like the Warriors coach was at Chase Center again Friday night for Golden State’s NBA preseason win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
And despite this not being the first time, it appeared as if Kerr couldn’t believe his eyes.

The Kerr doppelgänger has a name, of course — but it’s a familiar one. Steve (no, not joking) Gillis is from Las Vegas, where he’s an English teacher at Bishop Gorman High and co-founder/director of Summerlin Volleyball Academy, as identified by the Las Vegas Review-Journal in March 2024 after he originally went viral at a Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs game in San Francisco.

Two Steves. Two nearly identical faces. And while one chose volleyball instead of basketball, it’s clear they both really like the Warriors.
