On Wednesday, the Memphis Grizzlies, featuring Cameron Boozer, fresh off a sensational freshman year for Duke, took on the Orlando Magic.

The star of the Magic is another member of the Brotherhood, Paolo Banchero, and after the game, he had this to say about Memphis’s prize rookie:

“He looked pro ready, definitely composed. Thought he just played very good basketball, played within himself, took the right shots. Yeah, I think Memphis has something to be excited about with him.”

It’s still the preseason, and by definition, it’s really early in the NBA season. Still, we’ve seen a number of NBA veterans say really positive things about the rising young star.

On Friday, the Grizzlies play Chicago, where Boozer will again encounter former AAU teammate and ACC rival Caleb Wilson. That should be interesting, to say the least.
