LaMelo Ball got away with the most blatant travel you will ever see

There is uncalled traveling in the NBA, and then there is what LaMelo Ball did on Wednesday night.

"That's a travel."

That's not a travel, that's a vacation.

It was right in front of the official — who should have been focused on Ball's feet, making sure he was behind the arc. To the credit of the official NBA referees account, they owned that this was a missed call.

For everyone asking, “how is this legal?” It’s not! He gathers with his right foot on the floor and would be permitted two steps by rule (left-right). He takes four steps after gathering the ball and travels. https://t.co/dSitGeRNSD

Don't let this take away from Ball's impressive Timberwolves debut: 21 points and six assists in 28 minutes, and he was +18. It also helped that Anthony Edwards was on a heater.
But that absolutely was a travel.
