Stop us if you’ve heard this before.
Steph Curry made NBA history.
In the Warriors’ 126-119 overtime win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday at Chase Center, Curry went a perfect 4-for-4 on go-ahead shots during the final two minutes of regulation and the extra period. It’s the first time in the tracking era (start of the 1996-97 NBA season) a player has made at least four field goals without a miss under those circumstances in a single game (h/t @automaticnba/X).
And that’s not even the whole story. Curry also made two free throws in the final minute of regulation, with the first also giving Golden State the lead at the time. Additionally, with 2:21 to go in the fourth quarter, Curry made a layup that tied the game at 100.
So, all in all, that’s six different instances down the stretch when Curry made a shot to either tie the game or take the lead.

Oh, and it’s probably worth mentioning Curry finished with 41 points on 13-of-19 shooting from the field, 5 of 10 from 3-point range and a perfect 10 of 10 from the free-throw line — not to mention six rebounds and six assists.
One more key tidbit, in case you forgot: Steph Curry is 38 years old.
Saturday’s performance was Curry’s 47th game with 40-plus points since he turned 30 years old, as well as his 16th such game since turning 35. He now leads all NBA players in both categories all-time.

Finally, another impressive benchmark for the road.
Curry joined Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook as only the third point guard in NBA history to record 25,000 points and 5,000 rebounds in his career (h/t @statmuse/X).

Just another night at work for Chef Curry as the Warriors won their seventh consecutive game.
